Disable link after exporting SSRS Report into excel

I got this question from MSDN, Source of question is here

User Comment:-

I have a report with multiple link which one redirect to other reports. After exporting link is showing and able to open other reports from excel. I want disable link after exporting into excel. How can disable link after exporting in excel ?

Create sample report which has report links as shown below:-

SampleReport

Export this into excel you will find the links in the excel as shown below:-

ExportIntoExcel

We will disable the link when we export into Excel, to verify we will export into Word also where we want link.

Export to Excel: No Link

Export to Word: Link shown.

As we know in Textbox-Action we can write expression.

So we will create two columns with same header,:-

First column we will implement action which will point to the report

Second column will don’t have any action.

TwoColumns

Let’s set the visibility of both columns,

Expression would be like, if it exports into excel then disable the action column (First Column) and enable second column.

Action column visibility condition:-

=IIF(Globals!RenderFormat.Name=”EXCELOPENXML” ,True,False)

No Action Column Visibility condition:-

=IIF(Globals!RenderFormat.Name=”EXCELOPENXML” ,False,True)

Note: Check the Globals!RenderFormat.Name value when exporting into excel as I did in above screen.

Sometimes it may be just “EXCEL”

Run the report and export to EXCEL, you will find no link in the column

ExcelNoLink

Now export into word, you will find links in the exported word report.

Word

My question related to issue #2,

We are able to remove hyperlinks using below report action when exporting to Excel.
    =IIF(Globals!RenderFormat.Name = “RPL”, “Sub_Report_Name”, IIF(Globals!RenderFormat.Name = “EXCEL”, true,false))

This is working fine in SSRS report and after exporting into excel.
When we deploy SSRS report into sharePoint environment then excel export link was disable but subreport is not opening.

    Thanks.
