SSRS URL Reporting Tips

URL Reporting:-

1)      Hide Parameter in your browser:-

Add as &rc:Parameters=false

URL: http://localhost/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?%2fTestReport%2fUrl_REPORT&rs:Command=Render&rc:Parameters=false

Note: When you don’t give the values to the parameter used and setting display of parameter off it will throw error as shown below:-


After giving the value to the parameter, it will show report with no parameter selection on top of report as shown in below screen.

URL: http://Localhost/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?%2fTestReport%2fUrl_REPORT&rs:Command=Render&rc:Parameters=false&Country=1


2)      Multiple Value Parameters:

Add that parameter multiple times with different values in the URL

URL: http://localhost/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?%2fTestReport%2fUrl_REPORT&rs:Command=Render&rc:Parameters=false&Country=1&Country=3


3)      Access the Nth Page from URL

Add &rc:Section=5 (if 5th Page want to accessed)

URL: http://localhost/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?%2fTestReport%2fUrl_REPORT_Pageination&rs:Command=rENDER&rc:Parameters=false&Country=1&rc:Section=5


4)      Export To EXCEL or PDF

Add &rs:Format=Excel
