Dynamic Data Source in SSRS Report (No Dependency on Data Sources Published on Report Server)

SQL Server Reporting Services used  to design report, deploy report and finally deliver the report.

In real scenario  mostly SSRS reports are consumed using  .Net applications.  Directly connect to report server and show the report within their custom location in .Net page.

So if the report is using any shared data source and the connection is changed the .Net developer  have to go to the report manager and correct it or contact BI team to fix the issue.

If the data source is dynamic and the values can be pass from .Net application it is easier for the application that both .Net application and Report Server will be in sync.

Lets Create sample report which will take Data source connection  parameters as inputs.
